- event support
- shelving & shelf reading
- clerical assistance
- reading partners
- homework help
- Read to a Dog
- local history & archives
- gardening/property maintainence
- special projects
- computer training
- teen advisory board
- advertising
- fundraising (see Friends of the Madison Public Library)
