Introduction
The Madison Public Library is excited to undergo renovations that will improve our space and public services for our community. These renovations are extensive and, as a result, the main library building will have to close to the public so they can be completed effectively and safely. However, while the building may be closed, the library will move to a temporary location in our Chase Room, and we encourage patrons to continue to place holds and utilize our space. More details about the project and what it means to the public are accessible below.
We appreciate your patience with us as we work to improve this beloved community space.
History
In December of 2021, the library was awarded a grant through the State Library, funded by the New Jersey Construction Bond Act, for capital repairs and improvements to enhance the accessibility and functionality of the space.
This project is supported by funds from the New Jersey Library Construction Bond Act, administered by the New Jersey State Library.
We thank the Borough of Madison and the Friends of the Madison Public Library for their generous financial support of this project.
