After so much demolition, the pieces of the library puzzle are being assembled. The ceilings and carpeting in the children’s room have been completed, while final details are being added in the adult wing – take a look at the new carpeting and light fixtures! In our main entryway, the front doors have been installed and work is being done on new display spaces. What’s behind those display spaces? New bathrooms! Take a look at our updated photo gallery:
While the first half of our renovation may be on its way to completion, we still have a lot of work to do, including new cabling and wiring (wait until you see how many outlets we’ve added), and delivery and assembly of new furniture (not to mention reshelving all of the books we moved out). We anticipate reopening to the public in the fall and will continue to keep you updated as we move forward into the second half of our project!
