Early Literacy Begins With You!
The Madison Library has several resources to help you talk, sing, write and play with your child. Storytimes, music programs, read-along CDs with books and music CDs can help parents and caregivers introduce literacy to littlest library patrons.
Take the 1000 Book Before Kindergarten Challenge!
Read a book (any book) to your newborn, infant, and/or toddler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books (yes you can repeat books) before your precious one start kindergarten.
